1. Overview

Successful Youth Ministers don’t just work hard, they work smart. Maximize your time by minimizing your distractions. Plan your semesters. Plan your budget. Organize your year while in a state of grace-filled peace and Sacramental prayer. Joyfully secluded at Life Teen Camp Covecrest, you’ll enjoy five days of networking, sharing ideas, practical training, invaluable insights, and one-on-one time with Life Teen Staff Members.

All participants will enjoy communal liturgies, meals, and daily prayer experiences. Personal intercessory prayer and spiritual direction will also be available throughout the week.

3. Sessions

Foundational Track (for first-timers) includes:

• Show me the Money: Ministry Budgeting 101
• Week To Week: Comprehensive Semester Planning
• Stretch that Dollar!: Practical and creative insights on how to “do more” ministry “with less” money
• Any ideas?: Brainstorming and Networking sessions with others in the trenches
• When Storms Come: Creating a Pastoral Care Plan that prepares you for unplanned difficulties
• As well as practical Q & A sessions with Staff

Advanced Track (for Spring Training Veterans) includes:

• Intentional Discipleship: A critical plan for mentoring others
• Gettin’ back in the groove: Gaining a rhythm to work and prayer
• Turn over the Keys: Empowering Core to lead weekly activities
• They’re Mission the Point: Planning Mission Trips and Service Projects that connect teens to the Gospel
• The Gospel never stops: A model for perpetual evangelization

• Begins: Arrive on Monday, March 15. Spring Training begins Monday at 6:00pm
• Ends: 12:00pm on Friday, March 19th
• Costs:
  • $350.00 registration fee (includes: training, materials, all meals and lodging)
  • $40.00 shuttle fee (round trip)

PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING:
New 2010 Life Teen Event Registration and Payment Policies

To register, follow the steps below:

Cancellation Policy: Life Teen will retain $50 of the registration fee upon cancellation. There are no refunds given if you cancel less than 1 week prior to the event or for “no-shows”. To cancel, please call Tobi Ballentine: 480.820.7001

6. Transportation Overview

• Fly into/out Atlanta, GA airport
• Arrive on Monday March 15th
• We will provide a shuttle to and from Covecrest for $40.00
• Life Teen shuttle departs Atlanta airport at 3:30pm
• Departing flights should not be booked until 4:00pm or later on Friday, March 19th
