The 2010 Youth Minister’s retreat was a great time of renewal, prayer, fun, and relaxation at our beautiful camp and retreat in Tiger, Georgia. Fr. Bob Schreiner led our retreat on biblical meditations on the face of Christ. Stay tuned for a digital retreat experience from talks given at the 2010 retreat.
Come experience a week of renewal. No permission slips to gather, no sessions to plan, no staff meetings to attend…just you and Jesus, and dozens of fellow Catholic Youth Ministers gathering in the beauty of North Georgia at Life Teen Camp Covecrest.
This year’s retreat theme is “The Face to Behold: Biblical Meditations on the Face of Christ.” When John Paul the Great called the Church to begin the journey of faith for the new millennium, he called the Church to “contemplate the face of Christ.” This retreat takes that call seriously. The entire retreat focuses on the vocational call of youth ministers and their commitment to Christ and His Church’s youth.
The retreat will be guided by Fr. Robert Schreiner. Fr. Schreiner is rector of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Crookston, MN, a member of the Life Teen Board of Directors, and carries an impressive curriculum vitae, focusing most notably on John Paul the Great’s works on the New Evangelization. We are excited to have Fr. Schreiner back at a Life Teen event. He was a wonderful part of three 2009 conferences: Life Teen Training Convention, Life Teen Leadership Conference and Life Teen Basic and Edge Training.

Begins: Arrive on Tuesday January 26. Retreat begins Tuesday at 6:00pm
Ends: 12:00pm on Friday, January 29th.
Costs:
$165.00 registration fee (includes: training, materials, all meals and lodging)

5. Transportation
Fly into/out Atlanta, GA airport
Arrive on Tuesday, January 26th
We will provide a shuttle to and from Covecrest for $40.00
Life Teen shuttle departs Atlanta airport at 3:30pm
Departing flights should not be booked until 4:00pm or later on Friday, January 29th.
