Life Night

Time to Be Bold: Acts of the Apostles / Early Church

Keywords: | | | |

Goal

The goal of this night is to help the teens understand the beginnings of the early Church as the early disciples learned to be Christians. The night will also address the beauty in suffering for Christ and the importance of living witness. Finally, the teens will have an opportunity to share their own journey with each other and hear the call to share the Good News with all people.

About this night

This Life Night takes a closer look at how the Apostles began the Church as recorded in Acts of the Apostles. The night begins with the teens proving they are Christian and gathering in a secret location. After a brief reflection, the night will move into a teaching presented in first person about what is happening in the Church in apostolic times. The Break will give the teens an opportunity to reflect on passages from Acts of the Apostles and answer discussion questions based on the events. The night will close with the Core Members praying over the teens for boldness and courage to proclaim the Gospel.
