Women’s Day of Reflection

What is the biggest mystery in your life right now? When you will actually complete your “to-do” list? Where the other sock went? Why it is so hard to take time for yourself?   We spend so much time, energy and effort serving and cleaning and working and cooking and entertaining that we have no time to stop, breathe and listen.

There is a bigger mystery waiting for you: The mystery of God’s unconditional love for you.  The mystery of how God is moving in your life right now.  The mystery of how He is calling you back to Him with tenderness and mercy.  This Lent is a perfect opportunity to take some time and behold the mystery all around you.

I want to invite you to join us for the first-ever Women’s Day of Reflection on February 27.  It will be held at Marymount College in the ocean-side community of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.  The day will include talks, fellowship, Confession and celebration of the Holy Mass.  Take some time to re-focus your heart and life on God this Lent.  Take the time to behold the mystery unfolding before you.  Take some time to be loved by God.

Hope to see you there!

Lisa Epperson is Life Teen's Resource Director in Mesa, AZ. Before joining our staff, Lisa served as a Core Member for three years and as a youth minister for four. She believes that her degree in English and her many years of youth ministry mistakes makes her a good Resource Director. In her free time, Lisa enjoys working out, trail running, water skiing, snow skiing, rock climbing (you get the picture). "I am involved in youth ministry because this is the mission that God has called me to. I have seen how God has transformed lives, families and parishes and love being a part of how God is moving."

I don’t think we ever took pictures from the Day of Reflection but we can look into it.
